Eid al-Adha

Swansea Mosque has been based on St Helens Road since 1982, and is an important religious, social and cultural resource for both the local and wider community. We worked with the Mosque Committee to offer anyone attending prayers at Eid al-Adha, the second of the two main celebrations in Islam, the opportunity to have their portrait taken. With so many people attending, we worked with three photographers to document the day. This is a selection of images taken by Mohamed Hassan, Carys Griffiths and Ann Dineen.
